Workshop “Kun-Kun walk” (Friday, October 25, 2024)
Kunkun Walk” is a program that reads cultural history through the smells of the environment, which has been conducted since 2007 in Japan and abroad. We invite participants to walk together and use it to induce our local memories and reflect on the changes over time. The purpose is to discover the environmental characteristics and the keys to future creation.
This workshop is part of the collaborative research project with matching fund between Tohoku University and University of College London (UCL) in UK on “A Cross-Cultural Dialogue on the Potential of the Sense of Smell for Health and Wellbeing” and RIEC cooperative research project on “Cross-cultural dialogue on smell care and well-being”.
